Revolutionary Hot Aluminizing Technology for Structural Steel. First horizontal aluminizing process using MHD locks — 64% cheaper than zinc galvanizing.

The Problem

Corrosion costs the global economy $2.2 trillion annually. Aluminum coating outperforms zinc, but hot aluminizing only works for flat sheets — not shaped structural products like pipes and beams.

Our Solution

ALUMINICO invented MHD (magnetohydrodynamic) locks enabling horizontal aluminizing:

• 64% cost reduction: $53/ton vs $147.5/ton for zinc galvanizing
• 9x smaller bath size: 2.5 m³ vs 24.3 m³
